The last time I had written something was before I had gone off to New York! All in all, every second and inch of New York was amazing and ever since I've returned, I have never been more sure on studying there later on. Pictures have yet to be uploaded, but patience my dears, they will soon come to you. No doubt about these ones. Pretty spiffy! I've got a bokeh shot of Times Square uploaded so far! Central Park, Liberty Island, Greenwich village. The names are self-explanatory! Love it all.

Nothing much has changed apart from the fact that I now have three stars that compliments my half Chinese heritage in my adulthood on my Hong Kong ID card. I guess that's one thing- turning eighteen! Also, having the longest, most unbearable first term of the IB course doesn't allow me to have much exciting things going on. Christmas holidays were much needed, but went by too quickly. In some ways I'm glad I procrastinated a little more than I should have! Though honestly, I didn't feel fully relaxed or relived during the holidays. It felt as if I was stressing about IB subconsciously, just a little. IB's life changing, that's for sure. For better or worse? Right now, I'd say that I fucking hate my life, but if I do end up in New York at the end of the day, I guess it can't be all bad, right?

Oh, it looks like my film phase is here to stick around for quite a long time. Most of my work have been film-based since the summer. Also, I'm finally getting around to really using my Diana and developing the prints. Still trying out ranges of techniques with it, but so far I've uploaded two. Hope you guys like them! It's more experimental and abstract.

Term two of IB kicks off tomorrow- well, in about four hours. It's nearly four in the morning, yes. Why am I up? God knows. I'm sick, feeling quite crabby and I guess this screams "procrastination!" to you, which is true too. Not sure I'm fit for day one of term two.

Just had a flashback! Took place about five or six hours ago. It made me giggle! I am going to make her read this now. I'm laughing at you! Betty! Yes, you! Betty was spotted tonight walking around with her sanitary pad accessorized jeans! Gotta love it! I love you more than Kotex, Betty Liao!

The subject of this journal entry refers to the last thing I smiled at about 2 hours ago. A text from Jenni, "...Just to make you happy: Airguitar move!" Sure did make me happy, as did her amazing dance show that I braved my way to tonight bearing my churning stomach and woozy head. It was worth it in the end!

I know, it's been a really long time and I also said I'd upload more of those Thailand photos! I'm really sorry and also for not replying to any one of you, which I will get to very soon after posting this! Well, guess what? I never even got around to finishing editing those Thailand photos, but I do have some new photos for you guys which I took in the rain yesterday. Will be uploading those for sure!

I'm not really sure who or if anyone even reads this, but I'm going to continue writing anyway. So school's started, which really is the reason of why I haven't been around on this too much and I really must say that this IB course has got a lot fast-pace stuff flying here and there and I ought to catch up and get comfortable with this or I'll lead quite the miserable life. These days I get home and I'm much too de-motivated(whatever the word is) to do anything else and I guess I'm either moaning about work and trying to procrastinate and escape from it lazying round at home or doing it and falling asleep. All of those things wrapped up in a huge ball simultaneously happening and clashing with one another and there you have it with my life as of now pretty much.

On a much, much brighter note, I went to a university art fair about two weeks ago and met with a few administrative people from different art schools and got amazing feedback for my work, but of course, I think the most overwhelming recognition I received had definitely been from the near two hour long wait in line to speak to Sarah(same as me, I know!) from Parsons, who liked my work as well! Gosh, during the wait I can just remember the number of times I wanted to bail because of how exposed and lack of confidence I felt in that room. If it weren't for my two friends Adi and Marco, I really think I would've just gone home after waiting in line for five minutes. I really, really appreciate them being there and especially Adi who came just to support me. They probably won't read this, but I do love them both and I hope they know that.

NEW YORK, HERE I COME! Yes, you read that correct! I am flying to New York next Friday morning and I'm crazy ecstatic- it's indescribable! I will be there for a week and we will also be making a visit to Parsons, where I will have another chance to meet with Sarah again! Also, we'll be visiting the set of Project Runway! Heidi Klum is most probably not going to be there, but you guys keep your fingers crossed for me that on some random morning in New York City, Heidi decides to randomly drop in at Parsons on the very same day that Sarah Kohler decides to visit at the very same time. That would be amazing. Well, hopefully this benefits you as well because that would mean a whole load more of photos coming your way very, very soon! We come back on the 17th October, a day before my 18th Birthday! If only I could spend it in New York! On the day of my birthday I will be flying to Taiwan with my family for a few days and I shall celebrate it there, which won't be too bad either I guess!

I hope everyone's been great and I shall be checking in with you guys very, very soon! My previous statement still stands and I shall repeat it again:

:iconimpulseankita: <-- You guys need to check her out! She's your down to earth, vintage and adorable photographer that you musn't miss. I appreciate her and so should you.

Oh, one more thing... Happy Birthday Michael Charles O'laughlin

BACK FROM THAILAND! It was really relaxing and a getaway trip that was much needed, but in the end it's always good to be back home in Hong Kong where it's all WHIZZ WHIZZ WHIZZ again.

SO you guys will have to stick around as I upload my photos from Thailand these few days and hopefully they were worth the wait! Thanks for all the favourites, watches and notes while I was gone! I'm going to reply to them personally soon when I get the time too! Just uploaded one photo from my trip! Plant photos just to whet your appetite for the rest ;)

:music: We're one mistake from being together, but let's not ask why it's not right you won't be seventeen forever and we can get away with this tonight. you are young and I was scared. You're wise beyond your years, but I don't care and I can feel your heartbeat. You know exactly where to take me.

So this song came up and I've been thinking about growing up the entire day today. For the first time in my life, I've come to realize that I'm scared shitless to do so.
